Feeling stuck? Don’t run!

According to Timothy Butler, a coach and psychoterapist, “the successful businessperson …learns how to stay with this process of staying stuck in the darkness…until a new momentum emerges from the very experience of being stuck, of being in the dark.” (See his book for more details: <a href=”http://Getting Unstuck: How Dead Ends Become New Paths“>) So often when we feel stuck in the darkness, we forget that there are things to be learned and growth is around the corner. Our vision is clouded and we can only think about the negative. I am not proposing that we wallow forever, but if we find ourselves stuck it is wise to reflect. There is much to be learned by not running away from our experience. Honor where you are wherever that is. And know that the opportunities for growth stem from all places.

Life is Amazing! Live Well.
